About me

Here you will not find a "typical" artist biography. I do not have formal education in the field of art – I have tried many things: Biology, Education, Ethnography, Mathematics, and eventually earned a degree in Romance and Scandinavian Languages at the University of Tübingen. For several years, I worked as a translator in the field of medicine and life sciences, until I rediscovered my passion for painting (like almost everyone, I enjoyed painting and drawing as a child). As I had children of my own, the vast collection of children's books at our home sparked my interest in illustration for the little ones. I've had the opportunity to illustrate some books myself and looking forward for new and exciting projects!

I am member of Illustratoren Organisation (Germany) and SCWBI (Society of Children's book writers and illustrators)

What can I do for you?

- Character design

- Packaging design and advertising

- Postcards, greeting cards, stickers, design of gift items, pattern design

- Painting commissions (animal portraits, landscapes, still life)
